It is no coincidence that Optimus Prime said that the Autobots and Decepticons were once brothers, but Megatron sent his numerous armies against them, and this betrayal cannot be forgiven. History of the Decepticons
Any story, like a medal, has 2 sides. Good and bad characters have their own autobiographies, which are designed to show what really happened. The Decepticons are no exception. As already noted, these are the opponents of the Autobots in the Transformers universe. The etymology of the name is also interesting, which I would like to discuss in more detail.
So, the name "decepticons" came from a combination of two English words "deception" and"construction". If you translate this combination into Russian, you get a very interesting construction: "cheating robots". Of course, they also have their own point of view on everything that is happening, so the Decepticons initially considered themselves the injured party and called themselves the "deceived" Autobots.
Pay attention to the Decepticon logo as well. It metaphorically indicates the nature of their actions, as it is made in the form of an image of a fox's head.
The Decepticons have their own heroes
The film does not reveal all the secrets of the characters, so to better understand their character, we suggest that you refer to the original story described and sketched in the comics. According to them, Megatron, after leading the Decepticon movement, created the so-called inner circle, in which only the most powerful and experienced fighters were allowed.
Their names have not sunk into oblivion, among them the strategist of the Blast, the Brawler responsible for the Air Force command, the communications officer Barkhan. It was up to them to help Megatron transform the Decepticons, guiding them along the long road to creating an elite Cybertron military unit. The leading leaders of the Decepticons are Megatron, Galvatron (updated and improved by Unicron Megatron), Follen, and Deathbringer.
