Plot of the New Year's story

Red nose began to test his strength on the master, who was dressed in a warm fur coat. Another brother went to the trick and began to pester a poorly dressed peasant. The cunning man reasoned this way: the clothes on the person are thin, and he will quickly freeze. But the younger brother did not calculate that the little peasant, whose name was Stepan, did not sit idle, but worked tirelessly. Try it, freeze it!
The debaters liked the poor peasant's hard work so much that they decided to reward him. Stepan received a whole chest of gold and other treasures, and immediately found a bride for himself-the beautiful Nastya. So the older brother won the argument, but in the end everyone was satisfied, because ingenuity and love of work won.
