He is afraid of everyone, everyone insults him, but the most terrible beast is the fox. "And what is she like?" asks the duck, but the hare didn't have time to answer her, because he had already run away.
Since then, the red predator comes every day to check if the ice hole is frozen. Conversations take place between her and Gray Neck, from which the duck trembles and almost cries. When the ice hole is frozen, a duck and a hare try to break it, but they do not succeed. The big-eared animal runs for help, and then a red-haired predator appears.
She sees that the sagebrush is frozen, and understands that now the Neck will not leave. The big-eared friend tries to intercede as best he can, but where does he go — the fox can eat him, too. Suddenly, salvation comes: a hunter appears in the forest. He wants to shoot the redhead to make his wife a collar. The predator manages to escape, and then the old man notices the poor duck. "Since I'm still without a collar, I'll take her home, the granddaughters will have fun," grandfather thinks. So the Neck falls into good hands and finds a new home.
The performance with the participation of masterfully made tablet dolls will impress both adults and children. Artists speak in different voices, playing the roles of characters. During the production, there is a change of scenery, there are shadow scenes, musical and sound accompaniment.
